Founding a Startup is lonely

Solana hackathons are built different because they are:

  • global and remote so that anyone can access global capital markets and compete for users
  • 5 weeks long vs a weekend, so you can build a startup, not just a project
  • With each edition, thousands of founders/founding teams will:
  • stare at a screen, pushing code and pixels to prod
  • talk about their project through the noise on the feed
  • get rejected daily by customers, hires, investors, etc
  • pivot and repeat until breakthrough or breakdown
  • This can get lonely.

Therefore, to keep you going for the next five weeks, this newsletter is here to be your companion throughout the hackathon. A minute read every day (we check), including a tip to help you succeed, and one piece of product-focused news from the solana ecosystem.
